100th anniversary of Artek celebration decree signed by Vladimir Putin

President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the 100th anniversary of the Artek International Children's Center celebration. The document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on November 9.

“In connection with the 100th anniversary of the Artek International Children’s Center, which is being celebrated in 2025, I decide: to hold events in 2025 dedicated to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Artek International Children’s Center,” the text says.

The government was instructed to form an organizing committee for the celebration within six months, and develop and approve a plan for festive events. Ministries and departments, including regional ones, are recommended to take part in the preparation of the celebrations.

The legendary Soviet camp "Artek" was founded in 1925 as a camp sanatorium for children. Artek was transformed into the Artek International Children's Center in 2014.
