Three more rehabilitation centers will be built in Bashkiria

The construction of a large multifunctional rehabilitation and educational center based on the children's sanatorium "Salyut" for children with special needs will be completed in Ufa until June 1, 2024. The Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov said this today at the plenary session of the first open Breaking Barriers All-Russian Forum Exhibition. It should be reminded that according to the project, there will be a health-improving complex, a hospital for 84 beds, and a swimming pool. A new building of educational center is also being built, which will accommodate 192 students with the implementation of adapted basic and additional programs of primary, basic, secondary, and additional education for children with disabilities.

The rehabilitation department is being built at a polyclinic in the republican northeast in Mesyagutovo, also said Radiy Khabirov. There are plans to create such a center in Sibay.

"Today it is impossible to carry out the rehabilitation of people with disabilities without creating a serious infrastructure", Radiy Khabirov said.
