Federal law adopted to compensate volunteers for communication services
The State Duma has adopted laws that amend the Tax Code and the Law on volunteering. They concern the rights of volunteers to compensation for communication services and the abolition of personal income tax from it. This was reported by the Parliament press service.
According to the changes, volunteers will be reimbursed for communication costs, as in the case of meals, overalls, personal protective equipment, and travel expenses. This will allow volunteers to always stay in touch.
