Vadim Zakharov headed Ufa Science and Technology University

The Ufa University of Science and Technology was established in Bashkiria on November 1. The new educational institution was headed by Vadim Zakharov. This became known from the message of the administration of the Head of Bashkortostan.

The university was formed by the merger of Bashkir State University (BSU) and Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU). The united university is included in the Unified Register of Legal Entities.

The process of creating a united university on the initiative and with the support of the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov lasted more than two years. The academic councils of BSU and USATU supported the idea of ​​the merger.

This decision made it possible to take part in the Priority 2030 state support program. The new university will annually receive the base part of the grant of 100 million rubles and its special part.

University should be among the thirty best Russian universities by 2030.

New university staff has a lot of work to do, Vadim Zakharov noted in an interview with the Bashinform News Agency.

“The management teams are powerful, the majority of our many thousands of teachers and students are imbued with the expediency of participating in university ideology formation, so we will be able to see the results shortly,” said Vadim Zakharov.
