Radiy Khabirov congratulated agricultural workers on professional holiday

The Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov congratulated workers of the agriculture and processing industry on their professional holiday.

"On behalf of all residents of the republic, I convey sincere words of respect and gratitude. For the first time in the last 30 years, our villagers have harvested a record grain crop of 5.2 million tons. The absolute leaders were the farmers of the Sterlitamaksky region, who harvested more than 300 thousand tons of grain. Six districts, Ilishevsky, Baymaksky, Khaibullinsky, Meleuzovsky, Aurgazinsky, and Chekmagushevsky, exceeded 200 thousand tons. Bashkortostan completely covers its food needs. We exported 270,000 tons of products in 9 months, which is 13 percent higher than last year," Radiy Khabirov posted on his social media.

Among the key reasons for the record harvests in 2022, the Head of the Bashkortostan named Bashkiria's financial investments in the technical modernization of the industry and the purchase of fertilizers, as well as favorable weather conditions.

"In terms of state support for farmers, Bashkortostan ranks fifth in the country. Every year we allocate about 7 billion rubles to the agro-industrial complex, including 3 billion from the republican budget. We also co-finance the purchase of breeding stock and the production of milk and meat. The most important priority for us is the creation of comfortable living conditions in rural areas. Bashkortostan is among the leaders of the program for the integrated development of rural areas. The republic annually receives about 1.5 billion rubles from the federal budget. We solve the issues of construction and repair of social facilities, engineering infrastructure, and housing with these funds. We are also investing republican funds," said Radiy Khabirov.

The Head of Bashkiria praised the farmers who were called upon to defend the Motherland as part of mobilization.
