Temporary flight restrictions are extended in Russia’s south

Temporary flights restriction at 11 Russian airports has been extended until November 3, 2022, 03:45 Moscow time, according to the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

Flights to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol, and Elista are temporarily restricted.

“Russian airlines are recommended to organize the passenger’s transportation on alternative routes using the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol, and Moscow,” the Federal Air Transport Agency said in a statement. “The rest of the airports in Russia are operating normally.”
