Tourism development directions for upcoming season discussed in Bashkiria

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, held a meeting on the development of tourism in the region. The participants discussed the directions for the development of the tourism industry for the upcoming high season.

“We are systematically implementing all projects in the tourism sector. Firstly, many tourist facilities appear in Ufa. I think that the monument to General Shaymuratov on Sovetskaya Square has already become one of the important points of attraction,” Radiy Khabirov said. “We continue to work on the creation of the Eurasian Museum of Nomadic Civilizations in the Chishminsky District. This is a multi-year project. There are many such initiatives. Industrial, medical, recreational and school tourism is developing in the republic. The republican program “Bashkir Longevity”, which allows our pensioners to travel around their native land, has also shown itself well. We continue our systematic work."

Each project in the field of tourism receives the attention and support of the Head of Bashkortostan and the government of the region - said the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Afzalov.

“The summer tourist season is over. We are getting ready for the winter season and are setting the main tasks for the next year,” the minister posted on his Vkontakte page.
