Final of All-Russian Tourist Award "Route of Year" will be held in Bashkiria

Ufa will host the final of the All-Russian tourist award "Route of The Year" from October 31 to November 2, the republican government reported.

More than 340 projects from 66 regions claim to win, 38 of them from Bashkortostan. The All-Russian Tourist Award "Route of the Year" was established in 2014 and is awarded for achievements in the creation and development of tourist routes. In total, over 2.7 thousand projects have been submitted for the competition over the years.

The final of the All-Russian Tourism Award will be held as part of the II International Forum on Ethnic Tourism.

“Bashkortostan is one of the most beautiful regions of Russia with unique travel opportunities and an actively developing tourism industry. The forum will help to accumulate the best domestic experience on one platform, will become the starting point for new joint projects, and will provide a powerful incentive for promoting trendy tourist routes in the country,” Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic Rustem Afzalov said.

The program of the forum includes a plenary session, various round tables, and sections, as well as the exhibition "International Ethnic Cultural Tourism".

The International Ethnic Cultural Tourism is organized within the framework of the national project "Tourism and hospitality industry".
