Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to determine the list of tourist facilities that can be built in the forests following a meeting on the long-term socio-economic development of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The corresponding document is published on the Kremlin website.
The Russian government needs to submit proposals to the head of state on the use of forests for the development of tourism by December 20, 2022.
"Including the definition of a list of capital construction facilities for the provision of services in the field of tourism (including hotels), the construction of which is allowed in the forests," the document says.
Recall that earlier the president spoke about the importance of drafting a bill on eco-tourism. The document prepared by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia will make it possible to lay the unified foundations for the legal regulation of tourism and recreational activities in natural areas, and will also make land and legal relations between the state and investors transparent.
