

The press service of the Bashkiria government announces that an investment project to create a radionuclide therapy center in Ufa has been included in the priority list. The planned volume of investments in the project will be more than 1.6 billion rubles. The center will be able to provide qualified assistance to patients with cancer.
The center for radionuclide therapy will be built at Ufa City Clinical Hospital No. 18.
10 thousand square meters have been allocated in its territory. The area of the medical facility will be 5.7 thousand square meters. The project of the center was developed by the company "Radioisotope Devices".
The center will be opened as part of the program to create and operate a network of nuclear medicine centers in the regions of Russia. It will ensure the availability of high-tech medical care using modern and promising isotope products. A clinical base will also be created here for researching Russian-made drugs.
The project investor is Rusatom Healthcare JSC. The project implementation period is 2020-2024. During the implementation of the project, 83 new highly specialized jobs will be created. The center will annually provide about 3,000 medical services to residents of Bashkiria, as well as to patients from neighboring regions.
