Four more COVID patients died in Bashkiria

Over the past day, four people have died from coronavirus infection in Bashkiria. The number of cases of coronavirus per day has decreased to 585 people, the Ministry of Health of the region reported.

In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, about 322.5 thousand COVID-sick people have been registered in the republic.

“Currently, 249 people receive the necessary treatment in hospitals, of which 174 are patients over 60 years old. 15 people are in serious condition, the Ministry of Health stated. “More than 4.3 thousand people are treated on an outpatient basis, almost 1.3 thousand of which are elderly people.”

According to the Republican Ministry of Health, 672 people have been discharged with recovery over the past 24 hours. During the same period, four deaths from COVID-19 were registered. A total of 5,846 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic in Bashkiria. Of these, 4,916 are patients over 60 years of age.

Meanwhile, vaccination has been completed for 3.123 million people. This is 125.7 percent of the population to be vaccinated. Over the past 24 hours alone, about 16.7 thousand people were jabbed with the “anti-coronavirus” vaccine. The number of revaccinated people in the region exceeded 890.5 thousand.
