Construction of world-class Eurasian REC student campus will begin in Ufa in 2023

In 2023, Bashkiria will start designing and building an inter-university student campus of the world-class Eurasian REC in Ufa. This was announced on his Telegram channel by the Chief of Staff of the Head of the Republic Maxim Zabelin.

“Today, an important issue has been resolved in Moscow to create an interuniversity student campus of the world-class Eurasian REC in Ufa,” Zabelin said. “At the last meeting with the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov, we signed an agreement on financing the project. As Radiy Khabirov has already stated, 20 billion rubles of investments will be invested in the project, of which 60 percent is federal money. In the meantime, we are waiting, as expected, for the Russian government to pass an examination and expert evaluation of the project application, the results of which will be considered in October. As early as 2023, the republic will begin designing and building the campus.”

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported with reference to the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov, the student campus will be located on one of the best sites in Ufa - on the southern slope of the Belaya River.

“This story is not only about dormitories. First of all, we are creating a truly world-class modern scientific and educational environment, a space for life, study, science, sports and culture”, Radiy Khabirov noted.
