The Head of Bashkortostan invited everyone to "Toratau" Geopark

“Our Toratau geopark is becoming more and more attractive for our residents and guests of the republic,” Radiy Khabirov said. He devoted a new post on social media to this topic.

“The boundaries of the geopark pass through the territory of 4 districts - Ishimbaysky, Sterlitamaksky, Gafurysky, and Meleuzovsky. There are 155 natural objects, 27 specially protected natural areas, 103 geological, and 126 historical and cultural sites. Among the main attractions are the shikhans of Toratau, Yuraktau, and Kushtau, two geological sections "Usolka" and "Dalniy Tyulkas". All of them are of international importance.

We are developing here scientific and educational tourism, this is an excellent place for active, extreme, and recreational recreation. At the same time, we tried to make it as friendly as possible for people with disabilities and people with limited mobility.

I especially want to note the convenient navigation system. We continue to install information stands throughout the territory. At the foot of the shikhan Toratau, there is a visitor center.

Geopark "Toratau" is also interesting for the business community. There are already 107 resident partners in the geopark, and a couple of years ago there were 16 of them. Entrepreneurs build guest houses, campsites, and welcome guests.
