Ufa Planetarium to host World Space Week
World Space Week - the largest annual event in the world dedicated to the study of outer space is held from October 4 to October 10. This was reported by the Ufa planetarium.
The main theme of World Space Week 2022 is "Space and Sustainability". In particular, this is about paying close attention to achieving sustainability in space, as well as achieving sustainability on Earth with space-related technologies.
“The Ufa city planetarium will traditionally join the World Space Week from October 4 to 9. Educational events will be organized to help replenish knowledge about space, and plunge into the world of astronomical phenomena and events,” the Ufa planetarium noted.
During the week, visitors will be able to get acquainted with educational full-dome programs, observe the Moon through a telescope on the site in front of the planetarium, learn a lot of interesting things from Philip Terekhov's lectures, listen to a space concert, learn new skills at a space-style science show and take part in exciting interactive activities.
