Coronavirus cases in Bashkiria exceeded 315 thousand people
The number of coronavirus cases in the republic is steadily growing every day. In the last 24 hours alone, 885 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in the region. In total, more than 315.6 thousand cases have been registered in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria stated.
To date, 292 people are receiving the necessary treatment in hospitals, the vast majority of whom are elderly people. 14 patients are in serious condition, 1 is supported with a lung ventilator. About 4.1 thousand people are treated on an outpatient basis.
The region also recorded two deaths from COVID-19 per day. A total of 5,824 people have died since the start of the pandemic. Of these, 4,910 are people over 60 years old.
3,079,873 people have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus infection. This is 124 percent of the population to be vaccinated. In the last 24 hours alone, 11,401 residents of the republic jabbed the vaccine. The number of revaccinated people in the region approached 875 thousand people.
