Bashkiria head announced three millionth Ufa airport passenger arrival

Today, Ufa International Airport will receive the three millionth passenger, Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov said on his telegram channel.

“We don’t know his name yet, but it is already known that he will fly from Yekaterinburg by Utair,” the head of the region specified. - The achievement is very significant. Firstly, we reached such an indicator earlier than other regions in the Volga region. Secondly, it happened 8 days earlier than a year ago.”

According to Khabirov, this indicates, first of all, that, despite all the difficulties, flight restrictions, and passenger traffic is increasing. People have a growing need for business and leisure travel. New flights are opened from Ufa, both domestic and international. In total, at the moment there are 60 destinations in the route network of the air hub of Bashkiria.

“To a large extent, the success became possible thanks to the federal program to support air transportation. Our republican program of subsidizing regional routes is also working. I congratulate the staff of our airport and thank you for the excellent work,” summed up the Head of Bashkiria.
