Unemployed number has decreased in Ufa
As of mid-September, the number of unemployed citizens registered at the employment center amounted to 5,504 people, which is 3.7% (or 213 people) less than at the beginning of the year. The unemployment rate in the city decreased from 0.95% to 0.91%, which is below the republican rate of 1.05%. Ridan Akhyamov, director of the City Employment Center, announced this at a briefing session in the Ufa City Hall.
According to him, the city bank of vacancies has 19.9 thousand offers for job seekers. 33.6% of vacancies fall on public sector enterprises. The most demanded were blue-collar jobs, they account for 68% of vacancies.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that the unemployment rate in the republic returned to the pre-sanction level.
