

In Bashkiria, the number of cases of a new coronavirus infection continues to grow. According to the regional Ministry of Health, 442 cases of COVID-19 have been detected over the past day. In total, about 299.6 thousand cases have been registered in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic.
Currently, 252 people are receiving the necessary treatment in hospitals, 168 of which are elderly people. 16 patients are in serious condition, and two of them are supported with lung ventilators.
More than 2.1 thousand people are already being treated on an outpatient basis, about 670 of which are patients over 60 years old. 336 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours with recovery.
“Over the past 24 hours, one death from COVID-19 has been registered in the republic. In total, 5,786 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic, the vast majority of which, 4,899 cases, are elderly people,” the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria emphasized.
As for the vaccination of the population, to date, it has been fully completed for 2.939 million people. This is 118.3 percent of the population to be vaccinated. Over the past 24 hours, about 11.7 thousand people received the vaccine. The number of revaccinated people in the region exceeded 817 thousand people.
