A businessman from Udmurtia, Artur Gilmeev, bought more than 60 mares in Bashkiria - stallions and foals. He plans to breed them into a tribe. The businessman also plans to develop a tourism cluster and produce koumiss.
“A true friend, a comrade-in-arms, an assistant in the household - this is how the Bashkirs say about their horses. The Bashkir breed is native to the Southern Urals: strong, hardy, and not afraid of harsh winters. Now in our republic, there is a whole herd of such horses, ”the Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov wrote on his social media on Tuesday and conveyed his greetings to the Head of Bashkiria.
In response, Radiy Khabirov greeted the Head of Udmurtia and assured his colleague that “our Bashkir horses are really hardy, they won’t let you down!” The Head of Bashkiria wrote that tourists from our republic were expected in Udmurtia and invited them to our region.
