Coronavirus detected in 259 people in Bashkiria per day

In Bashkiria, 259 cases of coronavirus infection were detected over the past day. The data for August 23 is provided by the Ministry of Health of the republic.

There are 173 patients in inpatient treatment, including 121 people over 60 years old. 12 people are in serious condition, one patient is supported with lung ventilators. 1,298 people are undergoing outpatient treatment for COVID-19, 389 of them are elderly people.

Over the past day, 214 people recovered from the disease, no deaths from COVID-19 were registered.

11 patients with community-acquired pneumonia were detected per day, 18 patients who recovered from pneumonia were discharged from hospitals.

In Bashkiria, 15,421 people were vaccinated over the past day. In total, 3,138,391 people (126.3%) were jabbed with the first dose against coronavirus infection in the republic, 2,880,383 people (116%) completed it.

The number of senior citizens over the age of 60 vaccinated with the first dose is 939,541, the second is 860,169. Of the children, 9,056 people were jabbed with the first dose, 8,049 children received the second dose.

The number of revaccinated citizens is 785,763.
