Anniversary sports facilities are ready from 20 to 70 percent in Ufa

In Ufa, the construction of the Wrestling Center is proceeding according to schedule, foundation work has been completed at the facility, and earthworks have been completed by 100%. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria Irek Sagitov during an inspection of the construction of anniversary sports facilities in the capital of the republic.

It can be noted that a multifunctional wrestling center, a complex of facilities for rowing slalom and an indoor football arena are being built in the city for its 450th anniversary, which should be commissioned at the end of this year.

“The Wrestling Center will have to receive state expertise on the reliability of the estimated cost, receive and use 300 million federal budget funds by the end of the year,” Irek Sagitov said.

According to the project, the Wrestling Center will have eight gyms, including a sports and concert hall, a gym, wrestling halls with several carpets, a general physical training hall and a medical rehabilitation center. It will also house a children's and youth sports school, a hotel for athletes coming to competitions, a restaurant, sports bars and a fitness center with a swimming pool.

The indoor football arena is ready for about 70%. In addition to the football field, it provides locker rooms for athletes, coaches, showers, bathrooms, and a first-aid post. The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the capital construction department to submit a work schedule agreed with the contractor, taking into account the completion of the facility by December 1 this year.

The rowing slalom center is ready for about 20%. Irek Sagitov was given the task of starting tender procedures for design and survey work for adjusting the first stage and designing the second stage of the facility.
