The Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov instructed the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism to include Denis Umutbaev's farmstead in the Baimaksky district in new tourist routes in the Trans-Urals to develop kumiss culture as an element of gastronomic tourism in the region. Andrey Nazarov announced this on his telegram channel.
Earlier, the Prime Minister visited the farm where several generations of the Umutbaev family produced delicious kumiss. The route for tourists will also include natural monuments - the Gadelsha waterfall, Grafskoe, and Talkas lakes, the Irandyk ridge, and the grave of Muzhavir Khazrat.
“Then we will be able to include all these locations in the project “Bashkir Longevity. Tourism” and school tourism program. So soon even more tourists will be able to visit the most beautiful places of the Baimaksky district and taste one of the most delicious kumiss,” Nazarov posted.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported about the best kumiss makers of Bashkiria, who became the winners of the competition held as part of the first republican festival "Bashkort ata" ("Bashkir Horse").
