Coronavirus cases reached 119, one patient died in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the number of cases of coronavirus infection is increasing daily. According to the Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, as of August 9, there are 119 new cases of coronavirus infection in the republic. There were 115 the day before, the Bashinform News Agency reported.

Currently, 155 patients are undergoing inpatient treatment, including 108 people over 60 years of age. 10 people are in serious condition, one patient is supported with a lung ventilator. 561 people are being treated for COVID-19 on an outpatient basis, 169 of them are elderly people.

Over the past day, 135 people were discharged from hospitals with recovery. One death from COVID-19 has been reported.

12 patients with community-acquired pneumonia were detected per day, and 15 patients with pneumonia were discharged.

In Bashkiria, 13,077 people have been vaccinated over the past day. In total, 3,050,799 people (122.8%) were jabbed with the first dose against coronavirus infection in the republic, and 2,820,744 people (11.53%) were fully vaccinated.

The number of senior citizens over the age of 60 vaccinated with the first dose is 914,578 people, and the second - 839,498 people. Of the children, 8,750 children were vaccinated with the first dose, and 7,980 children were jabbed with the second dose.

The number of revaccinated citizens is 725,440 people.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the Minister of Health of Bashkiria, Airat Rakhmatullin, urged the population to vaccinate actively against the coronavirus.
