

Almost 50 young people with disabilities became participants in the "Inclusive City" of the youth forum of the Volga Federal District "iVolga", which is currently taking place in the Samara region, at Mastryukovskaya Polyana. The press service of the Volga Federal District youth forum reported that the large-scale forum returned to an offline format.
In the Samara region, iVolga has been held since 2013 under the patronage of the Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of Russia to the Volga Federal District. Since 2015, the work of an "Inclusive City" has begun together with the inclusive resource center. During this time, more than 600 disabled people have become its participants.
As the forum director, Christina Gnatiuk emphasized that special attention was paid to comfort, accessible and barrier-free environments for participants with disabilities.
“This is the largest platform for equal opportunities within the framework of the All-Russian Forum Campaign, providing an unprecedented level of accessibility and convenience for the work, development, and recreation of Forum participants with disabilities,” Kristina Gnatyuk explained.
According to her, from 30 to 60 young people with visual, hearing, and musculoskeletal disorders become participants in this area every year.
Within the framework of Open Space, the World Without Borders platform operates, most of the speakers of which are experts with varying degrees of disability. Lectures and master classes are held every day. Anyone can visit them.
The day before, a training was held on career opportunities for inclusive teams and youth with disabilities. Director of the Act Charitable Foundation, and manager of the federal social project Step into Profession Olga Loeva, who has the first disability group, spoke about how people with inclusion could realize themselves and declare themselves in the modern world.
