Topical problems of oncology are discussed in Ufa

The III Volga Interregional Conference "Volga Dali" was held in Ufa, the event took place at the Republican Clinical Oncology Center.

“It is gratifying that the restrictions associated with the COVID epidemic have been lifted and a large number of young people are present at our conference in the hall, many colleagues have connected via remote communication. This suggests that our events are in demand,” Maxim Zabelin, the Chief of Staff of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, said in his welcoming speech.

He presented the awards of the Head of the Republic to the most distinguished employees of the Oncology Center.

Leading specialists from federal medical centers and the Ufa Republican Cancer Center spoke at the conference. Industry experts presented the results of applying the latest methods of diagnosis and treatment of malignant neoplasms in practice. A separate event will be the sections of "live surgery" with a live broadcast of surgical interventions performed with the participation of robotic surgeons.

“The fight against cancer is an important area of ​​the Healthcare national project. It is no coincidence that Ufa has become a venue for such an important and beautiful forum. Our republic is one of the leading regions in combatting this pathology, in its early diagnosis and treatment,” Rimma Utyasheva, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, who was present at the opening of the event commented.
