Radiy Khabirov took part in celebrations of trade union movement 100th anniversary

A solemn meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the trade union movement of the republic was held in Ufa. The honored guest of the event was the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov.

According to Radiy Khabirov, at all times the trade unions were a big friendly family, they fought for the rights of workers, and decent conditions for work and rest so that every working person was confident in their future.

The Head of the Republic noted that currently the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic united about half a million people in its ranks and it was the largest and most powerful organization defending the interests of working people.

“Dear trade union activists, you are moving our society forward. You create important incentives for the development of the economic and social sectors. You help to bring salaries out of the shadows, achieve its growth, to prevent its debts. You contribute to increasing the prestige of blue-collar occupations. We declared this year in the republic as the Year of Vocational Education Modernization, Decent Working Conditions, and Labor Dynasties. By this, we emphasize the special importance of the interests of a working man. This year, I am sure, will give new impetus to the development of the republican trade union movement. I am confident that the Federation of Trade Unions of Bashkortostan will continue to successfully defend the interests of working people, and contribute to strengthening the economy and social stability. Happy holiday, dear friends,” he addressed the participants of the solemn meeting.
