Bashkiria hit Top 5 regions in terms of passengers transported
Bashkiria hit the top 5 regions of the country in terms of the number of passengers transported, ranking fourth. Rosstat provided this statistics.
Thus, every year 290 million people are transported by buses throughout the republic.
For comparison: in St. Petersburg their number reaches 400 million passengers, in the Moscow region and the capital of Russia - 427 and 852 million, respectively.
In 2020 alone, according to research, 7.7 billion people in the country used bus transport.
