Bashkiria residents with heart diseases will monitor their health through mobile application

In Bashkiria, a unique pilot project in the field of healthcare has been launched at the Republican Cardiology Center. Now patients with chronic heart disease will be able to track their health status through a mobile application connected to non-invasive monitoring devices.

According to doctors, over the past 15 years, the number of hospitalizations of patients with chronic heart failure has tripled. Doctors call this diagnosis the main problem of cardiology.

“The main task of optimizing this group of patients is to organize dynamic monitoring of signs of decompensation and the development of life-threatening conditions, their relief, as well as timely referral to high-tech methods of treatment,” Irina Nikolaeva, chief physician of the Cardiology Center RB said.

The project was developed by the leading specialists of the institution and presented to the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Natalya Orlova, who provided all the necessary assistance for its launch.

“In fact, patients will now be able to be under constant medical supervision and control of their attending physician, and they will not need to go to the hospital or clinic every time. This will allow timely detection of problems and significantly reduce the risk of complications. When it comes to cardiovascular diseases, timely treatment means saved lives,” Natalya Orlova said.
