1000 Cyclists Day central streets will be blocked in Ufa

On May 29, for the 11th time the annual city festival "1000 Cyclists Day " will be held in Ufa. The bike ride starts on the Lenin square and will pass through the central streets of the city, which will be closed for traffic.

On May 29, from 09:00 to 12:00, Oktyabrya Avenue from Northern Passage to 50 Let Oktyabrya Street and further along the route - 50 Let Oktyabrya Street from Oktyabrya Avenue to Tsyurupa Street, Tsyurupa Street from 50 Let Oktyabrya Street to Pushkin Street, Pushkin Street from Tsyurupa street to Gafuri street and then to Validi.

The section of Prospekt Oktyabrya from Northern passage to Southern passage will be closed from 09:00 to 11:30.

Also, from 18:00 on May 28 to 20:00 on May 29, parking in front of the Toratau Congress Hall will be closed.

For the duration of the restrictions on these sections, the traffic pattern of public transport routes will change. The mayor's office will announce this further.

The gathering of participants will begin at the Lenin square at 9 o'clock. A grand opening ceremony will follow. At 10.30 the start of the cycling column for a distance of 10 kilometers will be given. The participants will finish on Salavat Yulaev Square, where an activity zone will be deployed: a concert of cover bands, a bike show, interactive stations will operate.
