Frosts are expected in first days of May in Bashkiria
According to weather forecasters, a cold snap is expected in the republic on weekends and holidays with average air temperatures 1-2 degrees below normal. The cool air mass will come from the northern regions of the republic.
“The air temperature in most of the republic will drop at night in the air and on the soil surface to 0, -5 C, in some places it will be warmer to +1,+6 C, in the daytime not higher than +10+16 C, on May 2 +8,+13 C," the Bashkir Meteorological Office said in a statement.
Iy will be mostly dry in the coming days in the republic, meteorologists specified. Rains with snow are possible on the night of May 2 in the northern and mountainous regions of the republic in the zone of an inactive atmospheric front.
