Radiy Khabirov: Shulgan-Tash complex will welcome all residents since mid-June

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, after examining the ready-made expositions of the Shulgan-Tash historical and cultural museum complex, told reporters in an interview that he liked everything very much there.

“Our descendants should enjoy this. All these drawings are the subject of constant thorough scientific study. Besides, we got a museum there - four in one. Firstly, this is a museum where we talk about the cave and show fragments. French specialists recreated these drawings one-on-one. Secondly, this museum is a very important part of the Bashkir science, scientific research is carried out there. There is a good laboratory there, where scientists even study the structure of the paint with which these drawings were applied. There is a laboratory that studies human evolution – their clothes, how they hunted, and so on. All this is of profound scientific interest. This is a leisure place. There will be a café where you can have a break, and bring your children. There will be a summer amphitheater. We will officially open the museum in the first decade of June. From mid-June, we will probably make the museum accessible to all residents”, the Head of the Republic said.

Radiy Khabirov noted that it was a pleasure for him to bring the president of the Russian Academy of Sciences here, to see the museum complex and the cave in person.

“Tomorrow we have a very important day - a meeting of the Council of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation on regional policy. We will report there on the development of science in our republic, on the main promising areas of scientific research, the common scientific space of our country, our universities' work,” the Head of Bashkortostan summed up.
