Radiy Khabirov to municipal staff: We must be there for people

“We meet at a difficult time. A huge number of countries are exerting sanctions on our country. Despite this, the situation in the republic is stable,” the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov said in his speech at the plenary session of the XII Congress of the Council of Municipalities of Bashkortostan. According to him, the first quarter of 2022 showed a high index of industrial production and investment, the government continues to work actively and does not sit idly.

“We have to be there for people. You are not office workers, you need to hold more meetings, and personally communicate with the population. The situation should be under control. It is very important that you pay attention to those who need protection, families with many children, socially unprotected categories of the population,” Radiy Khabirov stressed.

According to him, the heads of cities and districts, and village councils should monitor food prices, housing, and utility services tariffs, as this is a very sensitive topic.

A critically important issue is to maintain the level of employment and people's incomes, the Head of Bashkortostan noted.
