

The 1000 Cyclists Day festival, which has become traditional for Ufa, will be held in May 2022 in five cities of Bashkiria, the organizers - the regional youth public organization "Union of Cyclists of the Republic of Bashkortostan", report. The city of Salavat will be the first to take the baton, where the cycling festival is scheduled for Sunday, May 1. A week later, on May 8, it will be held in Sterlitamak, on May 15 in Oktyabrsky, on May 22 in Neftekamsk, and on May 29 in Ufa.
The project is designed to popularize regular physical education, an active lifestyle among the residents of the republic, and to draw attention to the development of cycling infrastructure. Everyone can participate in bike rides, without age restrictions. The main thing is the presence of a bicycle and a protective helmet.
