Days off on May holidays - Bashkiria Labor Ministry

The Ministry of Labor of Bashkiria reminds residents about the days off they will have on the May holidays in 2022.

In honor of the celebration of Spring and Labor Day and Victory Day with a five-day working week, days off and non-working holidays this year are April 30, May 1, 2, 3, 4, and May 7, 8, 9, 10. At the same time, working hours are not reduced on Friday, April 29, and May 6.

“In connection with the days off with a six-day working week, they are May 1, 2, 3 and 8, 9, 10. The non-working holiday of Eid al-Adha coincides with the day off, May 2. Consequently, the day off from Monday, May 2 is transferred with a six-day working week to Tuesday, May 3, 2022, ”the Ministry of Labor of the region explained and added that working hours on Saturday, April 30 are reduced by one hour, on Saturday, May 7 they are not reduced.

When granting annual basic or annual additional paid leave, non-working holidays on May 1, 2, and 9 are not included in the number of calendar days of vacation.
