Investors in projects for wholesale distribution centers construction will receive state support in Bashkiria

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic Rustam Muratov announced the provision of state support to investors who will invest in the construction of wholesale distribution centers.

"We are expanding the possibility of obtaining state support measures for investment projects in the field of trade. In particular, we are expanding the instrument of priority investment projects about wholesale distribution centers," he said.

As the Minister of Trade and Services of the Republic of Bashkortostan Aleksey Gusev explained, to attract investment in projects for the construction of wholesale distribution centers and wholesale markets, it is planned to prioritize these areas (amendments to the procedure for considering, supporting, and monitoring priority investment projects of the Republic of Bashkortostan).

"The construction of wholesale distribution centers, which include storage, processing, and logistics, is one of the drivers for the development of trade.

This will contribute to the unhindered access of regional agricultural producers (primarily small and medium-sized enterprises) to modern agro-logistic infrastructure. Moreover, it will enable our farmers to expand the geography of supplies of products, primarily grown or produced in the republic,” Minister of Trade Alexey Gusev said.

According to him, these innovations will provide access for investors implementing projects for the construction of wholesale distribution centers and wholesale markets to all support measures provided in the republic for investors implementing priority investment projects.

In addition, management companies of wholesale distribution centers will be able to receive subsidies to compensate for interest rates on existing loans.
