

The Federal Air Transport Agency extended restrictions on flights to some airports in the south and the central part of the country until April 13. This is stated in the message on the website of the federal service.
“Until 03:45 Moscow time on April 13, 2022, the temporary restriction on flights to 11 Russian airports was extended: Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista”, the message of the Federal Air Transport Agency says.
Airlines are recommended to organize the transportation of passengers on alternative routes using the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol, and Moscow.
"The rest of the airports in Russia, including international ones, are operating normally," the Federal Air Transport Agency emphasized.
All changes in the schedule of airports and airlines should be clarified on the official websites of airports and airlines.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, initially the ban on flights to southern Russian airports, introduced on February 24, was in effect until March 2. The airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol, and Elista will remain closed. The airspace closure goes along the western border with Ukraine and Belarus at all altitudes.
