Russian government made several important decisions on foreign medicines supply

The Government of the Russian Federation has taken several decisions to provide the population with the necessary medicines. According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mikhail Mishustin, it is now possible to purchase medicines from a single supplier for two years.

“The procedure for licensing the production of drugs has also been clarified. Work is underway to simplify the registration procedure. The rules for the import of imported drugs have been simplified. The supply of drugs in foreign packaging is allowed, previously they could not get into pharmacies because there was no name in Russian, Mikhail Mishustin noted. “The supply of foreign drugs, the production of which was suspended due to sanctions, has been established.”

Measures have been introduced that will protect Russians from failures in the supply of equipment.

“The export of foreign medical devices from the country is completely banned and their purchase is simplified. We have accelerated the registration procedures for domestic medical devices in cases of replacement of foreign components in them,” Mikhail Mishustin reported.
