Media industry work for 2021 was summed up in Ufa

Maksim Ulchev, head of the Press and Mass Media Agency, reported on the results of republican mass media over the past year. He noted that 2021 went down in the history of the industry as a year of active integration of the republic into the global and Russian media space. The coverage of such events as the World Folkloriada, the WorldSkills National Championship, the World Wrestling Championship were performed excellently. Folkloriada news materials were published in 50 countries of the world, the total number of views of materials on this topic exceeded 90 million. The high professionalism of the regional media was confirmed by the victory of the media case of the Press Agency of Bashkiria on the World Folkloriada at the all-Russian award "Silver Archer".

He also noted that over the past year, the task of increasing the audience, taking into account new trends, was completed.

At the end of 2021, Bashinform News Agency was recognized as the most quoted and visited media in Bashkortostan. Today, the average monthly number of site views reaches 7 million, and the number of unique visitors - up to 1.5 million people.

According to the editor-in-chief of Bashinform, Ruslan Sharafutdinov, the main task of the agency remains unchanged - it is an objective and most complete coverage of all spheres of the republic's life.

Finishing the work of the board, Maxim Ulchev drew attention to the external challenges faced, including by the regional media.

“Now, in the context of tightening Western sanctions and the economic crisis, our main task is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the media as the main supplier of information important to the population,” he addressed his colleagues.
