Ufa will host Ecological Forum

The Ecological Forum will be held at VDNKh EXPO in Ufa from April 12 to April 14, 2022. This is the only multi-sectoral exhibition project in the region, designed to stimulate the development of environmental culture, both from business and from the public.

Its organizers are the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Bashkir Exhibition Company with the support of the Russian Ecological Society and the “Chistaya Strana” Association.

The central event of the business program will be a plenary session on the topic “Ecology of the Region. Industry Development Trends”. The moderator will be Rashid Ismailov, Chairman of the Russian Ecological Society, Deputy Chairman of the Public and Business Council of the National Ecology Project.

Representatives of the environmental departments of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Crimea, the Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Kaluga, Voronezh regions, specialized federal associations, heads of industrial enterprises, and regional operators in the field of waste management confirmed their participation in the work of the plenary session.

In total, 15 industry-specific discussion platforms and round tables will be held as part of the business program.
