Uncle Vanya instead of Mr. Ronald: they may create McDonald's analogue in Russia
Rospatent accepted an application for the Uncle Vanya trademark to open an analogue of the McDonald's fast food restaurant chain.
Uncle Vanya's logo is a Cyrillic "B" on a red background and resembles an inverted badge of an American brand. The application is currently being reviewed.
Recall that McDonald's has suspended its operations in Russia since March 14. At the moment, restaurants in Ufa continue to work, but local businessmen already have their own alternatives to foreign fast food.
