Lifting of existing anti-COVID measures is not yet planned in Bashkiria
By decree of Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, since March 15, the mandatory wearing of masks and many other anti-COVID restrictions are cancelled in Moscow. Regional Rospotrebnadzor assessed the prospects for such steps in Bashkiria.
"The incidence of coronavirus is declining in the republic, the increase in new cases over the past week has decreased by 25 percent. Meanwhile, new infections with COVID-19 continue to be recorded, 1,702 cases have been detected over the past day. This is a fairly significant indicator, and it is too early to talk about easing epidemiological measures. Decisions on anti-COVID-19 measures are taken at the emergency control center under the leadership of the Head of the Republic," Anna Kazak, head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) in the Republic of Bashkkortostan stated.
