Lake Yakty-Kul (Bannoye) in Bashkiria is recognized as one of the most popular holiday destinations for Russian tourists.

According to TVIL.RU, a travel accommodation booking website, 18% of users choose Yakty-Kul. Among other lakes that are included in the Top are Moinakskoye Lake in Evpatoria, Golubitskoye Mud Lake, Baikal and Ladoga.
