The world's major insulin producers have confirmed in writing that they will continue to operate on the Russian market and continue deliveries. The production and commercialization of Russian insulins is also going according to plan.
In this regard, drug provision for patients with type 1 diabetes does not cause concern, the Russian Ministry of Health reported today.
The department recalled that all patients who need insulin can receive drugs for free by prescription. Drug supply issues are a priority and are under the constant control of the Ministry of Health of Russia and Roszdravnadzor.
According to monitoring data from Roszdravnadzor, the stocks of the most popular imported insulin preparations, such as Novorapid, Fiasp, Humalog in Russian warehouses of manufacturers and distributors, in pharmacy chains today practically correspond to the total volume of their supplies to our country in 2021.
