Virtual import substitution: amid TikTok restrictions VKontakte breaks records of views
After the suspension of TikTok in Russia, the community of video bloggers and content makers increased their presence on VKontakte social media. According to the press service of the social media, downloads of new reels and views of videos on the online platform have doubled.
“We are noticing mass registrations of content authors from other platforms and an increase in activity from bloggers who have been with us for a long time,” VK representatives added.
In addition, to attract new users, the social media launched new activities in the Videos section with a total prize fund of 100 million rubles.
Recall that today VKontakte has almost 2 million registered users from Bashkiria.
