More than 37 thousand people are active carriers of COVID-19 in Bashkiria
The Republican Emergency Control Center for Combating a New Coronavirus Infection has updated the incidence data. As of March 3, 232,189 cases of infection were detected in the territory of Bashkiria, 3,314 on the last day.
There are 297 people in COVID hospitals, 35 of whom are in severe condition. 37,236 people are undergoing outpatient treatment. 189,384 residents of the republic coped with the disease.
In the region, COVID continues to claim human lives. Over the past day, 20 patients have died, 5,272 for the entire time of the pandemic.
Residents of Bashkiria continue to be vaccinated. 2,331,440 people or 93.8% of the population jabbed both components. The republic is still awaiting the delivery of the second batch of the Sputnik M vaccine for children aged 12 to 18.
