Bashkiria Rospotrebnadzor: more than 2.3 million people were vaccinated against coronavirus
In Bashkiria, 2,302,667 people, or 92.7% of the population to be vaccinated, were jabbed with anti-coronavirus vaccines. 2842 children were vaccinated with the first dose of Sputnik M.
Galina Permina, Deputy Head of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for Bashkortostan, announced these data at a briefing session in the Ufa City Hall. According to the agency, as of February 22, 199,169 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the republic. During the day, the increase was 4302 new cases.
“74,137 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Ufa. The incidence rate per 100 thousand of the population is 6552.7, the increase over the past 24 hours is 1889 cases,” Galina Permina said.
She also said that there was a decrease in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in the second week - the rates decreased by 34%. According to Galina Permina, cases of community-acquired pneumonia also reduced by 17%.
