Radiy Khabirov instructed Bashkiria Health Ministry to finalize incentives programs for healthcare workers

On February 17, during a “Health Hour” session, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic, Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin, summed up the results of four main financial incentive programs for doctors and paramedics.

According to him, in 2021, 143 million rubles were allocated from the federal and republican budgets for the Zemsky Doctor program, making it possible to pay 1.5 million rubles to 68 doctors and 750 thousand rubles to 26 paramedics who arrived to work in remote areas and villages. Another 1 million rubles were allocated for 17 doctors and 500 thousand rubles for 9 paramedics who have started work in towns and cities with a population of up to 50 thousand people.

The “Zemsky paramedic” program made it possible to pay a one-time allowance of 500,000 rubles to 35 paramedics hired from January 1, 2016, to work in rural healthcare stations. A one-time compensation payment of 1 million rubles was received by 42 doctors of scarce specialties and another 62 medical workers with higher education who moved from 2017 to work in rural areas and small towns.

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, instructed the Ministry of Health of the Republic to finalize the programs of financial incentives for doctors and paramedics.

“We have many doctors in the republic who, for various reasons, left the healthcare sector. It is necessary to interest them,” Radiy Khabirov said.
