Record 4.1 thousand new cases of COVID-19 infection are registered in Bashkiria
A record 4,105 new cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in Bashkiria over the past day - this is a new maximum for the entire time of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health of the region emphasized. In total, about 172.8 thousand cases have been identified in the republic since the beginning of the pandemic.
On the contrary, 4.2 thousand people were discharged per day with recovery. More than 340 people are now receiving the necessary treatment in hospitals; about 220 of them are people over 60 years old. 39 people are in critical condition. Almost 25.7 thousand people are treated on an outpatient basis, of which over 3.5 thousand are older adults.
“During the day, 19 deaths from COVID-19 were registered. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, about 5,000 people have become victims of the coronavirus in the region, of which more than 4,200 are elderly patients,” the Republican Ministry of Health noted.
