94% of patients with COVID-19 suffer mild form of disease in Bashkiria - Maxim Zabelin

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Maxim Zabelin, at a briefing on February 15, noted that 168,662 people with coronavirus infection had been registered in the republic. Over the past day, 3,954 new cases have been recorded. At the same time, according to him, most of the patients are on outpatient treatment. If we take it in digital terms, then this is 94% of those who are sick at the moment, in total - 25,778 people with a mild form of the disease. There are 336 people in hospitals; 207 of them are aged 60+. No patients are supported with lung ventilators. Maxim Zabelin noted that active diagnostics are ongoing.

“32 laboratories work almost around the clock. Nearly 20,000 tests have been completed in the last 24 hours. Vaccination is actively underway, for which many thanks to our conscientious citizens,” Maxim Zabelin said.

2,423,194 people were vaccinated with the first dose (97.5% of the population to be vaccinated). 2,271,089 people completed vaccination (1 and 2 doses) - (91.4% of the subject population). 341,236 citizens were revaccinated.

Maxim Zabelin explained that the number of vaccinated children from 12 to 17 years old was 2,880.
