

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, called the situation with the coronavirus spread "challenging" but controlled in the region.
"We will have to work in a tense mode," the Head of the Republic said.
According to Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB - Minister of Health Maxim Zabelin, the total number of people infected with COVID-19 has reached 164,708 people. During the day, the diagnosis was confirmed in 3,780 residents of Bashkiria.
Outpatient treatment is an absolute record of cases - 23,413. 327 patients are in hospitals, 23 people are in serious condition.
The Head of Bashkiria noted that the number of beds for COVID patients was increased in the republic. As Maxim Zabelin explained, this is due to the fact that there was a growth in patients who need hospitalization in the regions.
"Today, 3,250 beds have been deployed, of which 81% are occupied," the Minister of Health explained.
Vaccination is also ongoing in the region. 2,419,275 residents were vaccinated with the first dose, 2,264,882 completed vaccination. 338,000 people underwent revaccination.
The Sputnik M vaccine was jabbed to 2,759 adolescents aged 12 to 18; 14 of them had already received the second dose. As the Minister noted, no side effects were identified.
